The FL was a princess of a fallen kingdom, she doesn't suddenly become a butt kicking in your face FL either. Her pride gets hurt and then she learns to grow from it. She reflects on her past mistakes, namely the mistreatment of her people and strives to do better.
Her strengths are believable and the author doesn't make everyone so dumb that she can outwit everyone. She is constantly on her toes against other intelligent people out to hurt her. There is a bit of plot convenience and luck tossed in for her, but for the most part the author put in effort to make everyone's actions make sense.
Even the way each prince is acting towards one another makes sense. Nobody is just the antagonist for the sake of it, life happens, people make decisions and sometimes it causes strife. The big baddy of the book is sort of the only one without a real reason outside of power hungry, but that is still a believable motive.
The art is ok, it can look a bit wonky in some parts, but its good enough. All the males with six packs look weird though, the torso to head ratio is off, but that is typical in Manhua.
One of my favourite so far. it's been only 8 chapters, but I love it already
main character is a spoiled and arrogant princess. she's her father's only daughter he had when he was already old, so he spoiled her rotten . but she's also very well educated and prideful, as a princess should be l
I still cannot tell who's the real main male tho, at this point no one really helps her in her position. she's only alive because of the previous king's wish
she has wits and looking on her position, she's not the type who keeps trying to escape like most typical main female character, she knows her position well, that when a slave breaks a rule there will be punishment, she really use her brain. i like her
let's see where the story goes, but so far, this is promising
I tried reading it but the FL was just too snooty and bratty for my taste. The art is beautiful though so if you like that kind of start give it a try.
