This is a story, at its core, about three things:
I honestly love it, with exception of the
The main character is a good character with a good heart, and the bullying is very harsh--you'll want, so much, for things to get better for him and the other characters going through it. It's shit to be judged by your appearance, bullying doesn't end (it's a continuous cycle), etc.
It's a great story. (Also really good korean fashion okay the fashion students dress up well lol). But definitely, a huge, great theme on bullying and abuse. Frankly, I think we need more of it.
First few chapters I wanted to drop it, because it was extremely primitive and MC was just pathetic. And not because he was bullied, but because he always took the easy way out (even humiliated and betrayed his own mother). But I kept reading and after dozen or so chapters it became better, I checked on Naver all available chapters (45 at this point), and there seems to be significant improvement both in plot and development of MC's personality and other characters. Can't rate it yet, but it sure deserves more readers.
It's a look into the human psyche. It's about the bullied and bullies. It has a bit of mystery and character development already. I am very excited to see where this series is heading.
It's a concept that could be amazing if the MC was super smart, but it's too early to say if ours here has that much brains, or if the series will take such a direction. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what happens after the transformation. I just hope comedy is not all it amounts to in the end.
