It was an era of terror, a time when ten suns blazed in the sky, scorching the earth beneath them.
In response, the legendary warrior Yae was summoned by Chunjae, the father of these ten suns, and commanded to shoot down all but one.
However, Hwaehwa, the mother of the suns, did not take this news lightly. Seeking vengeance for her fallen sons, she vowed to bring them back to life.
After a long period, Hwaehwa returned and challenged Chunjae to a game of Baduk. She brought with her Hanbal, once a follower of Chunjae, and unleashed a thousand demons upon the earth, declaring them as symbols of her Baduk stones.
To gather his own stones, Chunjae seeks out Dong Bangsak and assigns one of Yae's followers, Hangah Dong Gun, to watch over him as he embarks on a journey to seal these demons.
