    I forgot which manga this was, and after looking at page 2 of chapter 1 it struck me.
    "Oh, it's the one where the art suddenly went to shit".

    Just compare that page to chapter 17 - page 18 where you get a backflash to chapter 1.

    Seeing people mention MC getting genderbent is no surprise, the artist had already turned him into a femboy before that.
