One day, Kurt, a kind-hearted boy, is abruptly dismissed from the Hero's Party for being deemed useless. He discovers that his aptitude for weapons, magic, and all other combat-related skills ranks at the lowest level. Consequently, he takes up odd jobs such as repairing the castle walls and mining for minerals to earn a living.
However, his exceptional abilities quickly become evident in these tasks. Kurt proves remarkably skilled in cooking, construction, mining, and crafting magical tools. In fact, his aptitude for every non-combat skill holds an SSS ranking! Despite this, Kurt remains completely unaware of his extraordinary talents.
