I pretty much avoid cross-dressing themes in BL because it's usually always the uke who's wearing girls' clothing, which is so predictable and often makes the male character just an overly effeminate stand in for a female lead. So this was a nice departure from that because the cross dresser is the seme - who is quite vocal about the apparent stereotype that all crossdressers want to be bottoms. It's so much more interesting when the seme is the one in drag!
Kei, the uke, is "straight" and extremely adorable because he's shy and slightly naive, yet is blushingly honest and very much into having sex with Nana - I personally love gentle, sweet, shy ukes who get horny with their committed partner; the gap is so moe, it's the best! It's an fairly uncomplicated plot, so not much drama but it's not boring, which is good, and Nana is a very kind boyfriend. I also like how Nana doesn't spend the entire time in drag (although they have a few sessions of cosplay sex), so you get to see how cute he is as a guy. It also shows that Kei loves Nana for him, rather than just his cross dressing persona. They both accept each other's kinks, and you root for them to be happy. A pleasant, quick and smutty read.
I had no hope for anything of substance going into this but I ended up falling in love with Kei, Nana and their smutty, cute story. It was obvious how they genuinely loved each other and I was glad that they are exclusive, considering Nana's background and Kei's naivete. I adore Nana.
