@Noney It did decline after the Gojo vs Sukuna fight during the Shinjuku Showdown arc. Your logic makes no sense. How were the plot threads fulfilled if some were left unanswered and leave too many questions? Gege never delved deep into the Heian era like the 3 major clans (Gojo, Kamo, Zennin), Sukuna's & Kenjaku's backstories & relationship, why did Kenjaku create Yuji as a vessel for Sukuna, what was Kenjaku's original body, what's Kenjaku's relationship with Tengen, information about Michizane Sugawara and the other vengeful spirits, what was up with the conflict between Yuki & Kenjaku about their ideals about cursed energy, how were the culling games miraculously ended, what's going to happen to the people outside of Japan now that they know the existence of curse spirits and curse energy, etc.
The early chapters should have taken more time establishing his assistants relationship with him and her personal motives. She acts in such a way that it appears they had much more interaction than they did. Briefly met acquaintances can bond well but it was was not written that way. Later chapters are better with this, particularly with the elves and the dragons. The dwarf also behaves very naturally.
Honest review 6/10. It was a short read but could’ve been shorter, lots of fluff. Also terrible way to end any romance stories IMO. Cute story but could’ve been much better.
