Seventeen years ago, Takafumi's uncle fell into a coma, but now he has awakened as if risen from the grave. Takafumi soon discovers two strange things: His uncle is obsessed with video games above all else, and during his coma, he was actually transported to another world where he served as a heroic guardian! Now, not only does Takafumi have to live with an uncle who is literally magical, but he also has to bring him up to speed on nearly two decades of history.
