    I just randomly remembered a nightmare I had about this series a week ago where the plot of a series of chapters was that some of the more skilled girls made extremely realistic Rentarou robots for companionship and Hahari got her robot and Rentarou mixed up and ended up having sex. She got pregnant and had the baby(Also Rentarou married all the current girlfriend but beside the point). The nightmare part when the baby girl opened her eyes for the first time and zinged with Rentarou

    I dont typically read much series where the main couple are already together, but this is super comfy and nicely humorous. I can tell the author repurposed the adorable Botan from their other work, into this without the drama.

    Medieval would be wrong, cos he knows about Hijikata Toshizo who died in 1869 so I say post-industrial revolution Britain or American. Maybe late 1870s to early 1880s. But the fact he knows about video games might indicate he lives in the 21 century. But then again, where he comes from isn't the Earth we know, its kinda an alternate version of Earth. So the histories might be all over the place.
