I have to survive, no matter what! I've died and been reincarnated as the villain in a romance novel! To dodge the terrible fate awaiting me, I corrected her mistakes and even got engaged. But now I am confused... are the centipedes just an ability of his pair or does he have two pairs of tsugai? Because the two little floating balls atop his head seem to be independent of the centipedes and vice versa, and with how most pairs are shown i don't think the centipedes are just and ability.
Now this opens even more questions about how tsugai contracts work, most people seem to only have one pair, is that a hard rule of the " contract system"? Is it a question of the relationship between pairs and the master? Or is it a question of energy reserves? (For this last one, it doesn't look like tsugai drain energy from their masters, but who knows).
