Have no idea why some one can give it 10/10. I stopped at 186 for a year or so, and just pick it up. Did i forget something but why do these creatures not attack the bottom of the ship? Is that easier to kill the soldiers with less lost than flying to the front of the ship? Why do they need to even flying out on the surface? It is so dumb that I can't even continue reading

Nah it's much more simple than that. In order to call lightning, dragons (in this case it's Ruri) need to gather static cloud. That's why she intentionally tried to call lightning -> the typhoon happened much earlier than it originally was (because the clouds got gathered). After the typhoons was pulled from the ocean to the city and her lightning is built up, she need to discharge it, once discharged, the cloud will disperse (due to they have fulfilled their purpose of summoning lightning for her).

TL; DR
1. She summoned typhoons by purposely summon lightning
2. She discharged the said lightning and the cloud disperse because they have fulfilled their purpose, resulting in the typhoon dispersed too.

at least the differences in the adaptation was worth the read. The mother fight alone justifies reading the same material, plus I kinda prefer skipping all the human parts of the story
