I Listened to My Husband and Brought in a Lover

I read through all 51 chapters in a single day! Which is a lot less impressive once you realize that each chapter is just a page long. It's a lighthearted and easy read. They find a topic or storyline and then riff on that idea for several "chapters," slowly building up new characters and relationship dynamics. Most chapters end with a punchline. And the humor generally comes from people lacking common sense and misunderstanding each other.

Around chapter 35 or so, the manga starts losing my interest. Probably because around this point, it changes from primarily focusing on comedy to instead being more dramatic. No longer does every chapter end with a punchline. It starts taking itself too seriously, and I just couldn't be entertained by this manga, yet it has a way of keeping you addicted to reading more. It was rather a time waste for me, to be honest.

The anime was kinda forgettable mid, ngl.
