I've only read 9 chapters so far and for the most part the story was great and the tragic backstory of the daughter is well done. However shortly after tidying up the daughter (i.e. new clothes, new hair cut) suddenly EVERYONE is calling the daughter cute, saying she like an idol or how she'll be a celebrity. It's overkill it's fine if the occasional stranger or close friends or family bring up the cuteness. But it's literally EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. they meet, and it borders on creepiness.
Hopefully it gets toned down a bit later.
It has a great start, but the YouTube stuff is the least interesting part and seems to be the main focus. It also doesn't deal with the exploitative nature of the industry or any other real conflict for that matter.
This is a fluffy and cute story which suffers from some glaring implausibilities in plot and characterisation. For instance, the formerly abused daughter somehow has an “angelic” personality; and the protagonist’s social media efforts pay off ridiculously quickly.
That said, the manhwa improves as time goes on, and eventually settles on a predictable but rather enjoyable formula.
The plot is sometimes forced but it's a cute and wholesome story
Deals with child neglect/abuse, single parents, and kid youtubers. Totally recommend this!
