While unequivocally narrating against the principles of "show not tell", the whole mechanics of "creator's privilege", shows the author's lack of skill in driving the story forward without such convenient setups and has to resort to such contrived plot mechanics.
Furthermore, the way the said mechanic is handled exposes the lack of creativity the author is suffering from, if not an indirect reflection of how immature or honestly just dumb the author is.
There is however something to be learned here, for it is a perfect example of how to avoid writing yourself into a hole with unconventional abilities; along with a staple in dialogue writing to avoid, exemplified by generic clichéd lines such as: "Is it over?" So blatant a flag that authors ten years ago would have thought twice about when considering the tension and used in all seriousness.
Seems 218 chapters were released as completed novel also. Too bad I can only read in english and can't find a translated version. This manga is awesome and I want more now
