Sheriff Elmore Evans is a stoic gunslinger dispensing frontier justice in the American Wild West. However, there's another side to him. Despite his legendary marksmanship, he's a hopeless romantic with zero relationship experience. He tends to overthink situations and relies heavily on the clichéd and often impractical advice of his father, more concerned with impressing women than apprehending criminals. As a result, he usually boosts his reputation as a gunslinger but fails miserably in his romantic pursuits.
Evans is accompanied by his loyal yet naive deputy, Ted Hall, and the bounty hunter Phoebe Oakley, who also lacks relationship experience and tends to overanalyze things. Together, they thwart various hijinks and capture infamous criminals, often involving hilarious misunderstandings.
