I ADORED Yu Yang’s character in the beginning, he is everything I like in a protagonist and I felt a bit sad that that same personality couldn’t come through in the later chapters. However, homeboy was strugglin so it makes sense.
The reason why I gave the comic an average rating was because the writing was better than normal and I totally recommend reading it, but there were some things that I didn’t like that brought the rating down. Like how I wanted more of a focus on the third couple (also ADORED Huan Wen’s character), and I didn’t actually want the second couple to get together at all (Zhong Qiu Jie was another character I ADORED, not very common I find so many characters I love lmao).
