But the only one who experienced this "new" Kiriyama in a match is Nikaidou.  Impredictable, playful, enthusiastic and creative rather than strategic, taciturn and conservative.  Methinks this Rei is a far more fierce opponent than the old one.  I was surprised to see this development, because I've been expecting an "enlightened Rei" all along, akin to Souya Meijin (Chika-sensei does portrait him as a "bodhisattva of Shogi" of sorts)... nope.  It's Jack Russell Terrier Rei now lmaooo
