People see it as an ending full of despair when it’s not. I found it’s actually a very hopeful ending when I sat and pondered on it for awhile, and after coming to my own conclusion I actually fucking love it. Now if my conclusion is what isayama intended or not doesn’t matter unless he goes back and adds to the manga with the full vision instead of the compressed version. But after coming to my own conclusion I’m super satisfied. The main cast got full lives as equals with everyone, and passed on peacefully. And the bombing gave rise to a world that needs rebuilding. And I think the one to do it will be the child at the end. I think they’ll use the power of the Titans to become humanities protector, and rebuild this world. And Eren is the entire reason that this can happen
