There are six series in the Baki franchise. This is the third one:
1. *Baki the Grappler* (1991 - 1999) - 42 volumes
2. *New Grappler Baki* (1999 - 2005) - 31 volumes
3. *Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre* (2005 - 2012) - 37 volumes
4. *Baki-Dou* (2014 - 2018) - 22 volumes
5. *Baki-Dou* (2018 - 2023) - 17 volumes
6. *Baki Rahen* (2023 - ongoing)
This series focuses on the conflict between Baki and his father.
Goes far from it's roots into weird tangents, boring exposition, and moves from a extreme fighting manga to some kind of fantasy crap. I think I might be over rating it at a 3, but I did end up reading it until the end.
Itagaki Keisuke is one crazy bastard. Its amazing how he can keep this series going after multiple sequels and spin offs and still have it improve with each volume. This particular series is probably one of his best and I can say that after reading only 5 volumes and from the looks of it its only gonna get better and better. I suggest reading the other series first to get a feel for Keisuke's style and to get to know the characters better.
it is great!!! the story ,the author, the art, the EVERYTHING!!! is great!! one gifted talent i ever seen!!. hope ITAGAKI Keisuke will continue giving more mangas like this!! must read for all (hand-hand combat)action-fans!! plus the prequall and side story is to die for.

I really like it
it was alot better than Baki
and it had the fight we have been waiting for since volume 10 or something of Grappler Baki
fans of the previous 2 "arcs" will not be dissapointed

Even with the pain, that probably will always be there, she is loved and she grows and lives strong.
Hiro-sensei got me with this chapter.
