some of the more negative comments make me wonder if they actually read the story in its entirety.  The plot itself is engaging enough to keep you interested in each subsequent chapter, but the character development is where the story shines.  Although it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger asking "what does the future hold for these two?", i think the author has already developed every character to the point that continuing the story would become stale and uninteresting. there are some dark, fucked up themes throughout, but its all balanced with humor, romance, and downright confusing moments that really make you think.
