    My complaint isn't just about the cultivation, but the magic's simplicity and lack of utility.
    This is basically something like spirit arts or the more advanced techniques seen in a wuxia.

    In a lot of wuxia, high level martial fights already consist mostly of throwing flashy, long ranged techniques at each other, no different than this.
