congrats its only 3 months lol

I feel like all of the headache of this series would just go away if they told the prince what was going on.

I get why people are upset but the whole point of the series is that Paul worked so hard that she has managed to create an actual life for herself in an incredibly sexist world.
If she got married to him, he would probably be a great husband but the only life she would have left is sitting pretty and waiting around until the next time they can see each other. She is one of the only women in the empire who has gained these kinds of opportunities. She does genuinely love him but she is obviously not willing to strip her life of everything she ever worked for and enjoyed. Especially when she has literally cried thinking about how other women she knew have never and will never get the opportunities and positions she got.

I wish we spent more time in the 'present' but I think its funny that most likely the reason why he thinks the 18th floor is harder is bc he has to socialize.
