Cute fluff with generic characters. I'm also so sick of the "ML is cold to everyone, but the FL is soooo cute and clumsy that it melts his heart" trope.

FL is ditzy, weak, and gives the ML, a literal kidnapper in both the original novel and current world, way too much credit because he's "nice". I'm getting tired of her bemoaning that he is killed by his own son when the ML is always distant with everyone and then is cold to people when they cross some undisclosed line with him? That sounds like the makings of a terrible father. The son probably saw his father as more of an aloof stranger than actual family, which means the ML's to blame for his own death.

Good art. Was funny for awhile and I liked the the main pair. But the story got dull and the supporting cast felt lame to me.

I've read up to ch. 73 and I'm not quite sure how I feel about this manhwa. When I first saw the title I rolled my eyes so hard like who the hell came up with this title lmao.

Yerenica is your typical shoujo girl: she's cheerful, clueless, always needs to be rescued by other men, and is the living embodiment of this 😀 emoji. She can be very sassy and straightforward at times (which I liked), but that's it. I don't see anything else that sets her apart from the others. If compared to FLs from other stories, she'd fade into the background.

As you may already have guessed, Dadd- I mean Euredian is the cold and handsome type of dude. A regular in shoujo stories. So, again, nothing special there. What I did find refreshing to see was how openly affectionate Euredian and Yerenica are with each other and no one makes a big deal out of it, which is something I don't often see in manhwas.

There's a god in this story but he's basically just a snarky side character who can be useful sometimes when the mc needs him to.

    Questions:

The flowers in the whole kingdom are green and blooming, except for some on the grounds around Yerenica's palace. They literally withered after Soleia (Solea? Solo? Soledad? can't remember her name) left. How could they not have suspected black magic from the very beginning? How could the damn palace gardeners not have wondered hm I been feeding y'all with water everyday and now y'all suddenly dead????

Also, Raulus. Dude's supposedly a god and yet he spends his time following Yerenica around like the jobless guy that he is. Doesn't he have prayers to answer? Or criminals to punish? Every time he talks to Yerenica I'm just like my guy go take care of your damn world and followers why tf are you bothering this chick so much smh.

All in all, it was an okay read. If you like shoujo, you might fall in love with this manhwa. But if you like a story that requires more than one brain cell to comprehend, I suggest you read The Queen. It's really good.

Stockholm Syndrome with bubbly, naive, thirsty, and superficial FL. Boring unemotional ML. Story lacks depth and has lots of plot holes. Like, she didn't really need to seek a relationship with ML anymore because her sister and unborn niece no longer hold ties to ML's country anymore. So, she could have just either wait it out or choose death (cause she has health issues revolving magic and can't escape no matter what). Another person in a comment section stated this, but got down voted for unpopular opinion. And I have to agree with the points on this. It's just weird. Her families life will no longer enterwine with the "og villian" of the story, so why work so hard to build an unnecessary relationship with ML and his self-proclaimed fiance (whom he was already thinking of marrying)? This just makes life harder for her than it already is. I also actually like the villaness more than the FL. Shocking, indeed! I've read spoilers on the story and her (villaness) life was just unjustly sad. Also, romantictizing Stockholm syndrome is weird. This type of plot just sends a wrong message to a lot of young readers. And what is crazy and scary is that I saw a lot comments glorifying this Stockholm syndrome situation just because the man was "handsome" and "kind to their victim" (that they KIDNAPPED), so they "were okay" with this "romantic situation" between the leads. Disturbing. 😑

Edit: I've come to a conclusion that whoever likes this story, has a Stockholm syndrome fetish. It can only explain why they didn't find it disturbing that the author romanticized Stockholm Syndrome. I guess I've out grown delusions where I don't find things like this normal anymore. shrugs

even though the FL can be dumb and annoying, her romance with the ML is very well constructed with a nice pace. too bad the ML is the only one with brains, but that's ok

My favorite romance trope is a slow romance where the male lead ends up falling for the female first and truly treasures her, unbeknownst to the female lead. This is what happens here, and on top of that the art (in general) and character expressions are very well drawn!

The story is engaging and moves forward at a good pace. (As another comment says, at first she just wants to protect her sister, and then she decides to try and prevent the whole tragic backstory of the novel from happening.) The plot progresses in a way that makes sense - even when the prince realizes he’s partial to the princess, he’s still got his kingdom and its issues to think about and isn’t dropping everything for her. The female lead, despite trying to seduce the prince, doesn’t vapidly fall for him just ‘cause of his looks, either. Rather, they end up sharing a lot of time together and growing close that way. Though, she is a bit airheaded and does seem partly like a puppy who likes the prince because he feeds her.

Between all the scenes I can squeal at about how good the male lead is to the princess and treats her special, and all of the plot points I’m curious to find out more about and see resolved, I can only wholly recommend this webcomic to those who like otome isekais.

If you compare this with the other isekai titles, this is one of the better ones. It has many gag moments, but it doesn't lose its way. The FL is still focused on her (new) goal. At first it was just to save her sister from being held hostage and ultimately setting off a chain reaction of deaths to come, but now that she's in the situation she's in, she's staying to prevent other's from meeting their early end, and I think that's really selfless as her.

She's not as air headed as you may think, and the king isn't has oblivious as he may seem. It also helps that we get to hear his thoughts once in a while. Do give it a try!

First the recent comment, it's stated that the hole connected to the basement.

And how dare you talk bad about Yereninovica! She's not an airhead, I'd say that she's quite smart on the way how she seduce him.

And not, the ML is not an old man. That's not the reason why the MC called the ML "father", she called her father because it's a habit of her son her previous life since she read the book in the next generation.

The story is not about a woman seducing a man who has a son. It's about her seducing a man that in the future would marry and has a son. So technically the ML is still single, because he's neither engaged nor married.

    It's really good.

Idk why but I keep seeing similarities to remarried empress, it's like a parallel world of remarried empress but different world, background, and personalities. It's just that red haired b**** reminds me of a twisted Navier with the same personalities with trashta but powerful. While Yereninovica reminds me of trashta with an angel personality, innocence, and pure.

The ML reminds me of sobitche (soviesh) with handsome face, 1000000000000 times better than him, cute, handsome, nice, caring, and warming.

Some might say she's useless.. but at least she's not a wimp who won't say her feelings. I MEAN, STRAIGHTFORWARD.

I like her little faces she makes. HAHAHA.

Male lead is also kinda cute (and handsome) whenever he's around her.

I've been a crazed manga fan for ages and I think this story has finally made me realise that I'm too old for shoujo. The whole story is honestly well drawn and sweet, and the premise is nice, just that I think it may be a little to childish for me. I just feel like for a 25 year old woman, the MC acts a little silly, even if its cute. The romance is kinda fast, and I feel almost entirely based on how he's handsome. Yeah, I think it's cute and nice and I like it, but I don't LOVE it.

It feels like this could be really interesting since the author is taking time to explain holy powers and stuff, but it has yet to be seen if it will all build up to anything or just get tossed aside as no real threat.
