I guess that is why its been a constant punching bag example for bad writing. Remember Boruto if you look at it objectively was only created to continue the series so Kishimoto could earn a paycheck. Its clear he was phoning it in when he was writing this given the sharp tonal shift from the next generation with cameos to the older Naruto cast almost becoming the main characters again.

The funny thing is Kishimoto would go on to create some side stories that are set before the events of Boruto focusing on the older characters from the original series. IIRC there are 3 of these spinoffs and they're quite good. The writing is leagues better than Boruto.

Carefull author, there are too many annoying swords out there, like excalibur and ahoubuch

I can't take this series seriously.
It drags on and on, just to give us more Isekai video game power fantasy.
I need to ask, do I need to read the entire thing to enjoy myself? Can't there at least be one well-drawn action scene after walls of text and dialogue?
I knew I should've bailed the moment they abused the nanomachine cliche.

I hope the dungeons start getting more diverse at least, even if the point of the story is him being stuck with his homes being a dungeon it'd be nice to see more than stone and an increasingly better home.
