Hiroto Takei, a manga artist who didn't succeed at a serialization meeting, decided to abandon his dream. Heartbroken, he embarked on a trip to Brazil to move past his disappointment. By chance, he wandered into a favela and met Joao, a poor boy with a sharp gaze. Despite living worlds apart, Joao dreams of becoming a Japanese manga artist. No matter the circumstances or location, one shouldn't give up. The tale of two aspiring slum manga artists pursuing their dreams begins.

    I feel like "monster" would have been a better word to describe the "geniuses" because of the thinking component. It might be a translation issue, also "talented learners" sounds kinda dumb.

    its because it was announced that it was getting axed way back in 2021, with only 4 volumes worth so i guess scanlators just dropped it, glad to see someone is picking it up
