holy shit how the fuck can you turn an interesting concept into the most generic story ever? It literally had the most generic troupes and cliches, and played out in the most predictable and average way. It wants to put a spin on the average isekai by making the mc a suicidal writer, but ends up making a gag character that obliterates his enemies with facts and logic in the most generic way possible.
However, that does not mean that it is bad. It just means that it has already been done before so much that it no longer feels any bit special. Sure its a good formula, but it had been overdone, and is predictable to the point of uninteresting. The suicidal writer plot point can only go so far, as it is merely a character trait, and had not been developed into an essential concept to change the story in a significant way. You can replace the suicidal writer with a bored philosopher, or a tired psychologist, or even a regular person who happens to be wise.
