    I remember watching through the entire anime when it aired, absolutely baffled. It lost so much nuance, yet somehow the plot saved it. It felt like the best and worst anime at the same time, most likely because the story was good but the adaptation failed it.

    So I'll give the manga a go.

    When reading these types of genre in manga I don’t really get sad or anything but, chapters 14-15 kind of hit different and this manga has some valuable lessons and it’s a bit of a wake up to reality kind of thing and a good read for sure
