This Korean fantasy action webtoon is a typical "shounen" story where you have a kind, caring 17/18 year old high school character who has a hidden ability that he needs to navigate and along with friends/mentor tries becomes stronger. He meets his mentor along the way and becomes his disciple, however the catch is one of THE strongest disguised as a cat. If you are looking for a non-complex story then pls read.

**The good: **
The art, premise, story and characters are enjoyable. The action is pretty great too. It has a good combination of angst/drama but also comedic moments. Honestly the top parts of Eleceed I extremely enjoy is the aspect of the characters being such cat lovers, the cute cats, cute faces the main characters make when they interact with each other and the friendships that Jiwoo accumulates!!!
I looooveee the friendship group dynamic between Jiwoo, Wooin, Jisuk and Subin and how protective they are of Jiwoo the main character LOL. But also how other characters are protective and show care for Jiwoo. It's so funny that Jiwoo is able to create (collect) friends/relationships using his kind, caring characteristic traits whenever he meets someone who doesn't like him at first and wants to fight him.
I love the mentor/desciple relationship between Jiwoo and Kayden.

**The not so good: **
The story is not complex and although the characters do have character development I feel like we have a long way to go before Jiwoo has to no longer lean on Kayden. Furthermore, it....tend to get repetitive...but honestly there are other parts of this story that makes up for it. Soooo yeah there can be some improvements here and there....

** Side note: **
This is by the same author as Noblesse so I expect this story to honestly go on for 600+ at the pace it is going. BTW if you were wondering what the title of this webtoon means it's a combination of Electricity and Speed (a combination of the two abilities between Jiwoo and Kayden). (this review written currently on 130+ chapters).

eleceed is like those outgoing kid that everyone loves, who gets along with everyone and makes it hard for people to hate em, its truly heartwarming, really easy to read, easy to feel excited without overcomplicating things, eleceed is aware of its flaws yet it continues to focuses on the right things

I would recommend this webtoon to anyone who enjoys action genre. Like Noblesse 😢, I hope this wonderful series will get a print book form. I will definitely buy it right away.

This is a goofy sweet Manhwa that also has action. The story mainly focuses on MC as he tries to become stronger with his cat tutor but he is a super sweet guy who makes friends wherever he goes. The friendly banter is funny and cute and action scenes are cool too with the amazing art style. There isn't much focus on antagonists as they are either mysterious or don't stay around long so most of it is just MC and his friends fun moments. There is an overaching story but its slow and I don't care for it as I just want more slice of life of MC and friends.

Take what could've been a generic shounen and vastly improve it by adding in cute cats and wholesome friendships. The only downside is the mc's overly generous plot armor, which protects him from getting killed after he bites off more than he can chew several times. One solution for this is to send in threats that are difficult, but surmountable with some cleverness, but then the mc's op mentor wouldn't have a chance to shine I guess. As a result, the mc, who's a moped in this world, occasionally goes up against Ducatis, and there's no tension at all about how he can win. Just wait for the mc's Dodge Tomahawk guardians to come in and curbstomp the enemies.

If shounen fights, cats, bromance bordering on fujoshi bait, and fun comedic moments interest you, then read this.
