    the way i see it is that serie doesnt think she is in danger at all and she already has an outcome in mind that we dont know of but she brought the other mages with her in order for them to show her another outcome
    also she says that frierens presence didnt matter but i think she wanted frieren to be there because frieren is a mage of peace like flamme said while serie cant imagine living in peace she wants frieren to show her a peacefull outcome
