Hirono Hiro is a high-school student and a secret shojo mangaka, known only to his childhood friend and kouhai, Kei Shindo. One chilly Christmas, after encountering a mysterious woman in church, a peculiar girl steals his bicycle. Chasing after her, he discovers her lying unconscious on the street. He learns that her name is Miyamura Miyako and that her bag was snatched by a man on a motorbike. Hirono ends up spending time with Miyako, much to Kei's dissatisfaction.
