It seems the historical background wasn't for some readers' tastes, but I personally loved it. Wittle Hyo Un is just soooo cute! I love Taehyuk as a person so immensely. He's just so kind and decent, yet not in the least bit vanilla. Everyone should have a Taehyuk.
The uncensored sex scenes are a much welcome relief from the lightsabers. The comic moments woven into everything are just pure gold, and the artist does a wonderful job rendering these moments in a variety of styles, not just one chibi style.
It's not even over yet, but I have already begun rereading.
This wasn't much of a review, I know, as much as my gushing. But I just loved it that much.
If you're into a bit of historical, this one is pretty cool. It is one of the ones that I more recently read, and it immidietly hit my top favorites. Maybe don't read if you are not into the top crying a lot,
but there's a lot to love about it.
And, if you're looking for one that's really simmilar, I would recomend "Eternal Covenant", which is also super good, and you should check it out.
I love it so bad:( The story is interesting and it's something I haven't seen anywhere else. I sometimes was annoyed by the story (especially the memory loss...) but it's still one of my fav😊

Really loved the story as a whole, and was kinda disappointed that after waiiting for season 3, we just got several chapters about the past, where it mostly was about the bad guys and things you could already imagine after listening to eveything that dragon was saying throuhout the series.
Both characters are amazing, complement each other perfectly. So happy we got the happy couple chapters at the end!

I read up to ch 54 so I have to say I'm not sure what I'm reading about other than the dragon LI is looking for his lost mate in the modern world. I feel like this is one of those moments where I zone out because the plot is just so thin and unsubstantial. We finally get some kind of plot progress but it made things really awkward now because it made what I thought was a wholesome relationship into a weird direction where I'm going rather not.
Also, this is one of the first webtoons I read where it's completely uncensored in r18 scenes so I figured I'd mention it since I'm so used to the lightsabers world. It's kind of you know what you're getting into after reading the first few pages and yeah this is that kind of BL so depends if you're into size difference and buff boys who cry a lot.
FWIW: For anyone else who is curious almost all the R18 scenes are dubcon so YMMV. I mean, the LI is super problematic but not in the way you'd expect him to be since he's emotionally manipulative and controlling the MC's life along you know the entire being powerful dragon to change or ruin the kingdoms and all.

I completed the series but I'm not sure if we'll get side stories. The LI kinda...got reduced to someone who only exists for his relationship with the MC which is disappointing. He used to have like life goals and thoughts independent of him but no more.
I feel like the main issue is that it keeps going back to when MC raised him which is the worst part of the story next to memory loss.
If you like the art then you might want to read human x dragon but I felt like it dragged a lot beyond it being uncensored so I kind of forgot tons of plot details since they didn't matter for the ending I guess.
The good one, my favorite manhwa bl on the first of 2023, unique plot, beautiful art! Highly recommend!
I mean...what can I say. For sure a must read for people into big busted men. Dawn of the Dragon has everything: interesting (yet of course a tiny bit cliche) plot; really excellent art; really nice character designs; REALLY good smut. Both the main characters and side characters are super enjoyable and memorable with established and consistent personalities.
The reveal is a bit cliche but the hopeful romantic in me loved it and I mean of course
The author's first debut work Love Plan is a tiny bit similar to Dawn of the Dragon (the MC's personalities and their relationship dynamic) so I recommend reading that also!
