Kaito Odagiri is an ordinary fifth-grade boy who can handle himself in a fight and enjoys showing off. His antics catch the eye of Makoto Kaibara, a student at Kaito's school who reveals that he possesses magical abilities but needs Kaito's help to safeguard their town's peace.
