Whoever says the art is bad is smoking something. The action is creatively drawn, with care and style. The level of perspective distortion may not be for you but it’s clear the artist is actually drawing freehand and not tracing chocky stiff models, as often is the case in manhwa.
This is also the rare series where the art gets better in S2!
Story wise it is a typical murim OP scoundrel MC, with a revenge plot, but the supporting cast gets a reasonable amount of development and the MC is amusing. May not blow your mind but the ride will deliver on the ticket you paid for.
It is a very bare bones story, events and characters are sped through. Maybe the novel is nice, but the manhwa feels like the clip notes version.
There are some nice moments here and there between characters, which gives some value to the series, but not enough to make it good. Does pass the time. Art is a bit better than okay.
There's nothing interesting about the tropey story setup, the art is mediocre, and the protagonist gets a free pass on evil deeds (like covering up a murder), while others are depicted as irredeemable for lesser crimes.
