Barairo My Honey

Ohmi Tomu, the mangaka did it again! Just like Midnight Secretary, this manga was absolutely amazing! The plot was definitely unique with the whole tiger-master and tiger-tamer thing and i loved the development and characters in the manga! Every volume was so interesting and the story just kept getting better and better! The ending was really well done also and the art amazing as always. 10/10 for a great manga. Don't miss out 🙂

LOVED it. Very romantic, the characters, the tigers...all so cute. The girl may be shrewd but she has a good heart and does a lot for the man she loves.

It's a good read for when you are bored. Nice artwork. The tigers were ADORABLE! I smiled every time it popped up.
But it wasn't one of those manga's that made me squeal with excitement.

its a typical shoujo story. its not really smut, it does not contain any mature scenes (unless vol 3 has it. ive yet to finish it). honestly not my cup of tea since it seems to gun for younger audiences.

The inner girly girl inside me has been drawn out by Ohmi-sensei. This series is so cuuuute!! I love love loved the baby tiger the first time it appeared, it made me grin like an idiot from ear to ear. I don't know what it is about Ohmi-sensei's work that gets me all giggly like a school girl, but I definitely know that her work is outdone and very worthwhile. The art is especially tangy and beautiful.

just one comment? i guess the lack of smut made this less popular (maybe)? This is definitely one of Ohmi Tomu's more complex works. Dealing with multiple themes such as the master and slave theme (who is the master, who is the slave?), the relationships between the different classes of society, social stigmas etc.

The fragile yet strong relationship bonds between the 3 mains are brilliantly portrayed. And although I love Mikage for his sexy hair and eyes, I can't help but be touched by Kotarou's struggle between his feelings for Koume and his loyalty to Mikage, and how he managed to resolve them in Ch. 8.

Well not one to turn to if you're looking for a steamy, passionate love affair, but the eye candy is still there nevertheless, and Mr Tiger is always a joy to look at! Now if only someone would just upload volume 3 🙁

my fave would always be kindan no koi but ths one definitely is my next fave. i prefer ths to midnight secretary though i always like women to b older than her...however, ths is immensely sweet n i like the tiger!! i like the other tiger tamer better, too bad he isnt the main guy...
