    10/10. i didnt have any expectations going into this. all i knew was that hajime isayama mentioned it in an interview before. from volume 1 i was hooked. this story seriously has amazing plot twists. the characters were so well done and felt very realistic with the feelings and thoughts they had. chapters 56 and 57 was the moment i labeled this as a masterpiece. the ending was amazing. definitely read it

    I dont't have a problem with bittersweet and bad endings, but in that case, it is really unlogical, many things are left behind, it is not well setup, some storylines are half forgotten. It just looks like another one bad-written endings, which are very common among Japanese anime/manga. Even my alltime favourite authors have that problem, like Urasawa for example, with his absolutely stupid endings, and not only by plot standarts, but also from a perspective of thr whole manga structure, dynamics etc.
