It's not that she "has no common sense", it's more that she's just a total imbecile.
I kind of wish authors would stop using that "no common sense"-trope as an excuse to make characters, that are just so flat-out dumb that they can excuse their lazy writing.
Because after all, you don't have to concern yourself with character building, when your character is literally just so dumb that his/her character can't even build...
