really comes down to the strength of the writer more than the art though. you need actual narratives to hook people in like JJK and Chainsaw Man did. nowadays it seems inevitable that just making a standard adventure story isn't enough. even toriko and naruto's authors, who had among the most historic runs in SJ, couldn't hack it on their most recent manga and got axed.
