I was put off by most of the comments but this is actually good?? Are we reading the same thing?

Starting with the characters, they're all fleshed out instead of just being prototypes doing stuff. They act in character, for the good and the bad, they have development, progression, personalities, goals. No disrespect between the characters' treatment just because gender either, they all have their share of cool moments and so far I'd say the girls have been the toughest ones?

For the people complaining about the princess... Toughen up a little? She has different sides, stengths and weaknesses like a real person so this of course translates to her being more likeable and dislikeable at different moments. If you can only stand lukewarm baths of bland characters who'll never challange you this one's not for you. Go back to your husbandos and waifus.

I think his question is right since it's really obvious that he cannot see the smoke the better question is: Is he made of smoke and magic and he is just having the illusion of a flesh regular body or does he have a real human flesh body and the smoke is just an illusion that happens when other see him? I think it's the 2nd since he seems to function like a human who needs food and water, but we have no way to confirm it since his eating could also be an illusion regarding him vision. since he died and came to a new work it doesn't sound to outrageous that he just has a magic smoke body that his soul is in.
