    Even if the fight was being watched and transmitted, realistically it would only be viewed by high ranking priests. Even if their faith was shaken, in terms of numbers this would be only a slither of the total followers. We should also consider that the saint hero of fear "takes control" of the followers. It's not like the Christians that are (mostly) worshipping with free will. I would assume that makes a difference right?
