I also realized that this Manhwa might've taken the base idea of Naruto and then didn't completely undermine the ideas in shippuden. While the similarities go deeper than the bright colored spikey hair it's mainly that he goes from someone who is the lowest of the low to someone who has a powerful pedigree for the magic system, a dark haired "brother figure" with a troubled past, and rises the ranks while trying to help others who were viewed like them. The main flaw of Naruto started when they when back on their main ideas and making it a goddamn kaiju megazord fight instead of ninja strategy and adding filler. The part that this does to change it is that just because he learns he has the greatest pedigree he is still fighting the same battle he has been about him being a slave and having to work for what he wants only using his pedigree as a foothold among similar people where as Naruto after the sasuke retrieval arc (ep 140 or so) just says fuck it, the rest is filler.

The just got the first volume for myself in person and it was worth every penny to have this masterpiece in my hands
