    well, from what we can see in the last panel Vanessa still has her threads, although they're essentially "black" in the panel. so I think it basically replaced their current magical power with anti-magic.

    tl;dr: they temporarily "lost" their magic and is instead borrowing anti-magic from Asta and using that in place of their regular mana.

    btw if you have problems finding chaps on all the sites you can always go to torrent sites like nyaa(dot)si and you can at least find out how much of it is translated or how far the official translations go. Tho if you arent willing to torrent then you'll be playing the waiting game.

    The story is ok and MC is nice enough. But Charlotte is so fucking annoying at the start. Like so fucking annoying it made me just want to fucking drop this fucking trash manga but she gets better after chapter 5 because she stops taking all the fucking screen time with her fucking incompetence. Im sure it happened because the early novel readers or something at the time were fucking pissed too. She is the pure definition of anti-productivity. Its like a self-destructive nature and its fucking portrayed like some sort of airhead clumsy girl orwhateverthefuck.
