MY MONTHLY
SOURCE OF HORNINESS
-MC is a bit bland and not nearly crazy enough of a character after 3000 years chipping away at his sanity.
-The government is painfully impotent, and MC's backing them up.
-This "cynical" and "cold" MC doesn't even perform street justice against mass murderers (vice guild master with reflect sword).
-The "dangerous" situations are created by jumping through hoops.
He got super low health for that first big dragon fight because he was punching that dude's reflect weapon, why not just disarm him with his 9999999999 agility? What about the moth cave? It would take him 30 minutes to reach them? They moved at least 60% of that distance + dicked around a bunch whilst he did nothing.
felt it the most when tohru's father came to pick her up, the anime built more momentum and it became a real good climax for 1st season, while in the manga it happened quite abruptly and ended pretty anticlimatic for such a major event
the same with 2nd season, they gave kobayashi more time to mull over their relationship and end it nicely with the sakura viewing scene being more dramatic
while in manga, the sakura viewing chapter felt just like another chapter
