The first thing you should understand is that Zombie Hunter was never completed, and it likely never will be. Despite this, I believe it's still worth reading.
The plot itself isn't particularly unique. It starts off strong but eventually falls into predictability.
So, why do I recommend reading Zombie Hunter, an unfinished manhwa?
The artwork is exceptional. While I'm no expert, I can confidently say that I found the visual experience of Zombie Hunter highly enjoyable. The fight scenes are incredible. Apologies for my limited vocabulary.
Toshio, the protagonist, is fantastic. He's a fierce fighter with a powerful survival instinct and a killer instinct. As a character, he shows great promise from chapter 1 through to chapter 17, after which 'the story' seems to take over the narrative.
The pages from chapter 17 to the end illustrate why the author abandoned Zombie Hunter. The storyline becomes watered down, lacks depth, and shows signs of waning inspiration.
To summarize, if you enjoy intense fight scenes, blood, monsters, and appreciate well-drawn illustrations, you should definitely read Zombie Hunter. If you can appreciate a potentially remarkable character, then read Zombie Hunter. It's brief. Give it a read.
