Fujimoto Hiroya stands at the pinnacle of his class. He is the Student Council Vice-President, dedicating all his time to studying and serving as a role model for all the "good girls." However, deep down, he would give it all up for the chance to transform into someone else—someone popular, outgoing, and carefree—like Masaki.
Masaki is seen by Fujimoto's friends as an "idiot." He prefers playing soccer over hitting the books and rarely studies. Yet, he is adored by all the "normal" kids. With flashy clothes, bleached hair, and a reputation that contrasts sharply with Fujimoto’s pristine image.
During the summer of Fujimoto's freshman year in high school, he decides to change his image and life—to become friends with Masaki. But can dyed hair, new clothes, and a piercing truly alter who he is inside?
This classic BL work is penned by the "dream-team" of novelist Koh Akizuki and mangaka Meiko Koide.
Please note that this title delves deeply into some rather "heavy" issues including, but not limited to homophobia, gay bashing, coming out, HIV/AIDS, promiscuous sex, rape, and suicide.
