Four years ago, a massive disaster in Tokyo resulted in two million deaths. The remaining thirteen districts of the city were sealed off into what is now known as the Tokyo Barricade Zone. Morisaki Harumi, a rebellious youth with exceptional fighting skills, is the sole survivor from his family after the incident. One day, Haru becomes involved in a traffic accident that plunges him into a world of violence. There, he meets Mana, a girl who has transformed herself into an ancient sword.
