Since I’ve read the LN I would say it’s probably the way the characters are to me. Horikita is wayyy too open and not as stubborn as she should be. But then again the pacing is too fast for any kind of development. Ayanokouji is also abit too perverted and doesn’t seem like himself. I kinda feel like thier going for more of a comedic/fan service tone rather then the seriousness needed
