I honestly think it's because the general manga scene is filled with soooo much garbage, that even something that would normally only be said to be decent, is treated as something amazing
It strays away from overused tropes just barely enough to make it stand out from the every other shitty manga, and it also has the hype factor behind it, which allows you to kinda gloss over many of the small details that may make it flawed
Also, it has an ending, One of the worst things a manga can do is overstay it's welcome, which this manga doesn't do, it goes through it's arcs, and then it wraps up everything and ends, which honestly makes it much better than a lot of manga.
Also I feel like SSS Suicide Hunter is the best of it's category, so it almost feels unfair to compare most manga to that, because most would fail when compared to it
