Stigmata: Sekiren no Seija

The end of the Holy War. The Pope, in an effort to silence the remaining witnesses who challenge his authority, demands a strict gag order on "the miracle" that concluded the war: the appearance of the five individuals bearing the stigmata - the Holy Marks - marks believed to be from God. Ten years later... The diabolic faction that once opposed the Vatican's power and instigated the Holy War has reawakened. They have started assassinating the once-admired heroes of the Holy War. The Vatican dismisses each incident as mere coincidence but rumors suggest that since the war's end, the Pope has formed an occult organization called RADEM. Ostensibly, RADEM fights demons, but they seem to have a more obscure mission... The Cardinal calls for an assembly of the region's clergymen in the Pope's name to address the situation. To this end, an ambitious nun named Sister Rose is sent to the Teatela Province on a mission to locate Father Gabriel Iota - a priest rumored to possess very strong Holy Power...
