Are you talking about the twisted romance between the witch and the male lead? I haven't read it and I'm not going to because in other reviews people have said that the male lead is lowkey in love with the hundreds of years older witch guardian lady which I'm not for.

Actually, this feels pretty organic from the characters we've seen. To Sol and Luna it's a game, and the Master Rules are *pissed* that Andy locked them up alongside Fuuko putting up such a good fight and killing them off.
Before, Juiz had failed each time around, while Fuuko demonstrably succeeded at pushing them back, so they never had to resort to measures like these...but it's not exactly out of character for Soul to get Time to speed things up to their final fight, just like he was willing to let all of the rules go for the quest that only Beast and Lan were there for.
Plus I feel like with Andy back, the break period would have just been a 2-3 chapter training arc for Julia, since what's happening now is what would have happened anyway with more chapters between.

character designs aren't that bad, but overall art is just horrible.. proportions are bad, battle scenes are too messy that you can't understand what's happening, the state of war is too boring and the superiors or nobles are forgettable characters, too much is happening in just 5 chapters which makes it hard to speculate what might happen.. The MC does well but mostly do things alone, with twisted personality, I don't think he'll have any character development at all since he shows no sign of clear goal..

Basically, it has shitty art, shitty pacing, shitty settings but with a badass personality MC.. this may change on upcoming chapters though..
