Unaware of her feelings for him, Shouta Azuma is convinced by his childhood friend, Miwa Okamoto, to attend the same high school as her. Here, they can elevate their badminton skills and continue their camaraderie. To her dismay, the laid-back Shouta declines, stating he plays badminton merely for enjoyment. One day, Shouta encounters Yuhi Kitou, a gifted badminton player who has lost her voice. Her elegant playstyle leaves him mesmerized. Unfortunately, before learning her name, Yuhi vanishes, leaving Shouta yearning to find her again. Obsessively, he searches for her, unable to shake her from his thoughts. His quest leads him to Anan Hashiba, whose prowess in badminton deepens Shouta's understanding of the excitement in facing strong opponents.
